Healthy Behaviours Development Program

6 to 12 years of age

Bullying is an increasing problem in our schools, neighbourhoods, families and communities.  Kidzucate, together with your help, aspires to create a world where such abuses are recognised and understood by children, using our educational programs.

Armed with this knowledge and awareness children can take appropriate action to break the chain of Bullying and other forms of abuse and neglect.

The Take-A-Stand program covers emotional abuse, physical abuse and a combination of these.

There is significant research to show that the key to all effective programs, including Take-A-Stand is activating the role of the "bystander." The other key piece of research is the critical use of role-play. That is the other key component of Take-A-Stand. Several studies on the role of the bystander in the prevention of bullying can be viewed on my website in support of the Take-A-Stand Program written by Azelene Williams.
